The heat recuperator is a ventilation unit that performs a permanent air exchange in the room for which it will be installed, recovering part of the heat of the exhaust air. It can also be integrated into an HVAC system as part of it or used as a single unit. A heat recuperator has the role of evacuating the contaminated air from a room, to introduce fresh air, to introduce fresh air filtration and to realize the transfer of thermal energy between the two air exchanges. It periodically needs maintenance and replacement of filters, for high efficiency as well as for clean air inside the space served.
