Water Source Heat Pump

Water Source Heat Pump

This monobloc heat pump, connected to a water loop, can be installed in a false ceiling or technical room and is compatible with ductwork. It offers cooling capacities ranging from 3.5 kW to 46 kW. The heat exchanger is equipped with hydrophilic aluminum foil, ensuring efficient operation. This compact water-cooled unit uses the water loop as a heat source and can operate in either heating or cooling mode, making it a highly energy-efficient centralized air conditioning solution.

During cooling, the water in the loop is used as the heat sink to expel unwanted heat. In heating mode, the water in the loop serves as the heat source that is absorbed. This water-cooled unit is part of a centralized HVAC system. When the water temperature in the loop exceeds a certain threshold due to heating or cooling, a cooling tower is typically used to dissipate the excess heat. Conversely, if the water temperature drops below a certain level, heating equipment is employed to supplement the heat in the loop.

When the water temperature within the loop is maintained within an optimal range, the need for a cooling tower and additional heating equipment is eliminated, resulting in significant energy savings.
